Spotlight Creator Network
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Spotlight, the creator partnership platform operated by Hermes iMedia LLC (“we,” “us”). By applying to, joining, or using Spotlight, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Spotlight.
What Spotlight is
Spotlight connects food and lifestyle creators with partner restaurants. Approved creators receive hosted (comped) visits, publish content about those visits on Instagram, submit that content in Spotlight, and may receive payouts. Spotlight is not a marketplace or an employment platform, and joining does not make you our employee or agent.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Access is by application or invitation. We may approve, decline, or revoke access at our discretion.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us immediately at info@hermesimedia.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
- One account per person. Do not share or transfer your account.
Hosted visits and creator commitments
- A booking is confirmed only once it appears as approved in Spotlight. What a hosted visit covers — the restaurant, the date, the number of guests, and what is comped — is what is stated on that booking, and nothing more.
- If you accept a hosted visit, you agree to publish the agreed content and submit it in Spotlight within the timeframe communicated to you.
- Content must be your own, must not infringe anyone’s rights, and must not be unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or hateful.
- Repeated no-shows or failure to deliver agreed content may end your participation.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create. By submitting content in Spotlight, you grant Hermes iMedia LLC and the restaurant featured in it a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to reshare and display that content, with credit to you, in connection with promoting that restaurant and the Spotlight program.
Instagram connection
Connecting your Instagram Business or Creator account is required to submit content, and is used to read your profile details and the metrics of your own posts. We never post, comment, or message on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time from your Spotlight Profile. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.
Scoring
Your Composite Spotlight Score (CSS) is calculated from your submitted content and its Instagram metrics. It informs booking and payout decisions. We may change how it is calculated as the program evolves, and we do not guarantee any particular score.
Payouts
- Payouts, when offered, are stated per engagement and are paid by Zelle to the payout contact you provide. Keeping that contact correct is your responsibility.
- Payouts are made after the agreed content is published and approved.
- Participation in Spotlight does not by itself entitle you to payment. A hosted visit may be the entire consideration for an engagement.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, probe or disrupt the service, scrape it, submit content you did not create, or misrepresent your metrics or identity.
Suspension and termination
You may leave at any time by deleting your account in Settings, or by emailing info@hermesimedia.com. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms, or for any reason with notice. On termination, approved payouts that are still outstanding remain payable, and you can ask us to delete your data as described on our data deletion page.
Disclaimers
Spotlight is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of metrics supplied by Meta.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hermes iMedia LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Spotlight. Our total liability for any claim relating to Spotlight is limited to the payouts paid to you through Spotlight in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and continued use after that date means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
